Nakkaştepe Cemetery lies within the Kuzguncuk neighborhood. It is a Muslim cemetery, maintained by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality. Situated to the northwest of the Kuzguncuk area, facing toward Beylerbeyi, the cemetery has several legends about the origin of its name.
