Editor's Note
There is evidence that it has existed since the early 18th century. The oldest gravestone dates to 1711. The cemetery, measuring 2,050 square metres, was enclosed by a wall in 1967. The Kandilli preacher Bishop Eremya Tavukciyan rests here.
