Editor's Note
This was the hunting lodge of Zihni Pasha, the founder of the Zihnipaşa Mosque in Erenköy. The building, with a stone ground floor and a wooden upper floor, was endowed to the mosque, but its damaged wooden section did not survive to the present day. The top of the ground floor was covered with a roof, turning it into a single storey. Little is known today about its history. It is actively used as the residence of the imams of the Zihnipaşa Mosque, while the building beside it serves as a Quran course for girls.
