Editor's Note
Designed by the architect Raimondo D'Aronco, the mansion was in a ruined state when it was restored in 2009. Its first owner was Jean Botter, tailor to Sultan Abdülhamid II. It is one of the two surviving examples of the four mansions Jean Botter built side by side for himself and his three daughters. As of 2020 the mansion is used by a well-known restaurant chain.
