This is a summer mansion built by Reşk-i Melek Hanım, daughter-in-law of the confectioner Hacı Bekir Efendi. There are two elegant little fountains in its garden. It stands within the Büyük Kulüp (Grand Club). Sold to Akif Bey the flour merchant in 1935, the mansion was bought in 1937 by Refii Bayar, son of Celal Bayar, the third President of the Republic of Turkey. Refii Bey first rented the mansion to the Büyük Kulüp and then transferred it to them.
