Editor's Note
It was built in the 19th century by Dr. Ali Bey, the grandfather of the Eczacıbaşı family. It was restored in 1956. The mansion, on whose grounds apartment buildings were later constructed, is today used by a company. Source: Kapalı Hayat Kutusu Kadıköy Konakları, Dr. Müfid Ekdal, 2005.
