The work "The Cloud in Love." 220 x 220 x 60 cm. Kirill Grekov / Estonia. I created the composition of this sculpture inspired by the famous tale "The Cloud in Love" by the renowned Turkish writer Nâzım Hikmet. The tale tells of a cloud that falls in love with a beautiful girl named Ayşe. The cloud, struggling against evil, sacrifices itself for the girl, because its love was boundless. The tale has a happy ending: the cloud manages to be reborn and to be reunited with its beloved. In the sculpture I tried to capture the essence of the tale.
