Editor's Note
A row of three terraced houses on Albayrak Street. Once the property of the Aya Yorgi (Saint George) Monastery, the houses were later sold. Source: Zafer Ertaş, S. Akpınar, Büyükada, Bir Ada Öyküsü, Adalı Yayınları. The middle house largely retains its original form, while the other two have been considerably altered by the repairs they have undergone.
