Editor's Note
Opened in 1944 by Lucas Zigoridis, the patisserie served on the ground floor of the Cercle d'Orient building on İstiklâl Avenue from 1947, before moving in 2012 to its present location on Mis Street. The establishment, regarded as the birthplace of profiterole and the Uludağ cake, has no connection with the İnci Patisserie in Kadıköy.
