Editor's Note
This three-storey, 585-square-metre han passed to the Treasury when the Gülbenkian family left the country, and for a time it was used as the district governor's office. After various legal proceedings it was transferred to the Surp Pırgiç Hospital Foundation in 2008. It is not in use today. It has no connection with architect Kemalettin Bey's series of Foundation Hans (Vakıf Hanları).
