Editor's Note
Founded in 1868 as the German and Swiss School, the institution's building was erected in 1896. Commissioned by Otto Kapp von Gültstein and Gustave Wülfing, the structure was designed by the architects Heinrich Meissner and Guglielmo Semprini.
