Editor's Note
Opened in 1969 by Levon Tekneci, the patisserie is one of the oldest establishments in the area. It continues to make its Easter bread with ingredients sourced from the island of Chios, its apple tart with apples brought from Amasya, its tahini bun with Konya tahini, its coco dessert with Sri Lankan coconut, and its chocolate desserts with Belgian chocolate. Levon Tekneci handed the business over to his apprentice Mustafa Takyan.
