Editor's Note
It is located in the basement of a registered residence on Gedikpaşa Avenue. It consists of a three-part plan supported by stone walls covered with barrel vaults. The structure, whose interior is entirely covered with modern plaster, was also used and repaired in the Ottoman period. Long used as a workshop and storehouse, the space is thought to have originally been the substructure of a building before later being converted into a cistern. The remains are now under protection, by decision of the conservation board, in the basement of the registered civil-architecture building above them.
