Editor's Note
Atatürk Bridge, formerly known as the Unkapanı Bridge, is a road bridge across the Golden Horn in Istanbul connecting the Historic Peninsula to the Beyoğlu side. It links the Unkapanı-Küçükpazar area in the Fatih district with the Azapkapı area in Beyoğlu, continuing the line of Atatürk Boulevard that runs from Aksaray to Unkapanı. It is named after Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of the Republic of Turkey.
