Editor's Note
This is a roughly square cistern uncovered during the foundation excavation of the second phase of construction of the İMÇ Blocks in late 1961. The cistern, covered by a barrel vault, has interior walls coated with waterproof plaster. After being studied, it was preserved and the İMÇ was built over it. Today no remains are visible at the surface.
