Editor's Note
The Rezan Has Museum is a private urban archaeology and arts museum in Istanbul, founded in 2007 by repurposing a Byzantine cistern located beneath a building within Kadir Has University. Combining 17th-century Ottoman building remains with an 11th-century Byzantine water cistern, the museum later enriched its collection with documents and objects from the Cibali Tobacco Factory. It is named after Rezan Has, wife of philanthropist Kadir Has.
