Editor's Note
It is thought that lodge activity took place in the cells located to the south of the Molla Zeyrek Mosque, on a site that is today a vacant lot. An inscription hung on the wall, written at a later date, states that Şeyh Akşemseddin was the first to occupy the seat of honor here.
