Horhor Medresesi

Editor's Note

It stands on Çıngıraklı Bostan Street in Horhor, on plot 26 of block 895. Built in the 17th century, the medrese served as a religious school until 1914, after which it was used as a residence. Although the architecture of this single-story masonry medrese, the only one to survive in the Aksaray district, has been altered by its use as a home, its courtyard and student cells can still be made out.
