Balat Pier is one of the piers on the southern shore of the Golden Horn. It is a wooden structure with a tiled roof and is registered as a cultural property requiring protection. It serves the scheduled Golden Horn line of Şehir Hatları, calling at Eyüpsultan, Sütlüce, Ayvansaray, Hasköy, Balat, Fener, Kasımpaşa, Karaköy and Üsküdar; the tram line's Balat station can be reached from the pier.
