Tevkii Cafer Çelebi Camii

It was built as a masjid by Nişancı Cafer Çelebi. Although the construction date of the masjid is unknown, given that Cafer Çelebi died in 1515, it is clear that it was built before that date. Beyani Ahmet Efendi had a minbar installed in the masjid, thereby converting it into a mosque. It was repaired by Sultan Abdülmecid in 1842. Over time it was neglected, suffered fires, and only the walls and the base of the minaret remained. Between 1978 and 1980, under the supervision of the Directorate of Foundations and with the support of an association and the local community, it was rebuilt.
