Repair date: 1262 AH / 1845-46 CE. Repair inscription: Abdülmecid Han, the just-minded king of kings of the world, ever directs the streams of his generosity in every direction. Who is his treasurer? Şevkinihal Usta, who restored it and, for the sake of God alone, gave all the thirsty their fill of water. Ahmed Ağa's fountain had earlier fallen into ruin; she repaired it beautifully as the heart desired. Two thirsty ones came and Cemil thus spoke its date: it poured forth its water from this fountain—drink, for the sake of God.
