Editor's Note
The Tevekkül Bathhouse stood between Aksaray and Haseki, at the junction of Millet Avenue and Arap Manav Street. From a study of Istanbul's bathhouses, it is possible to establish the existence of the Tevekkül Bathhouse in 18th-century Istanbul. According to this, in 1766 the Tevekkül Bathhouse was of the daytime (kuşluk) bath type. It was located near the Yusufpaşa Fountain, and the bathhouse was operated by the Tavaşi Mustafa Ağa and Kasım Ağa Foundations.
