Best known for its milk-based desserts, the establishment was founded in 1918. After serving in Beşiktaş until 1977, the venue closed its Sofular branch, to which it had moved in 1940, and relocated to its current location in 1979. It has been run by the Kurap family for three generations. Its own production of buffalo-milk yogurt, cheese, butter, and clotted cream, along with its traditional milk desserts, are renowned.
