Editor's Note
Since the fountain's inscription has not survived, there is no information about when it was built or who commissioned it. The fountain, laid out on an irregular pentagonal plan, has three faces of cut stone, two rear faces of plaster, and a stone-arched basin façade. To the right of the fountain is a resting area for porters.
