Editor's Note
It stands near the Haseki Sultan Complex, on Hekimoğlu Ali Paşa Avenue, at the corner of Mucit Street. Reşad Ekrem Koçu held the view that this was a bathhouse built by Suleiman the Magnificent in honor of Hürrem Sultan, his most favored consort. It appears in the Tezkiretü'l-ebniye and the Tezkiretü'l-mimarin and is counted among the works of Mimar Sinan.
