A railway station in Maltepe on the Anatolian side of Istanbul, about 14 km east of Haydarpaşa Terminal. It was originally opened in 1872 by the Ottoman government as part of the railway from Istanbul to İzmit. The station was sold to the Anatolian Railway in 1888 and later taken over by the Turkish State Railways in 1927. Once a main freight depot, its freight operations declined greatly after the branch line serving the Maltepe military pier was abandoned.
