Editor's Note
An Armenian Catholic church on Büyükada island. Built under an imperial decree dated 1 November 1856, it was opened in 1858 on the Feast of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary by Andon Agha Apelyan. The church building was restored in 1956 and 1985.
