Editor's Note
The Sa'dabad Pavilion was a royal Ottoman complex on the bank of the Kağıthane Creek in present-day Istanbul. Built in 1722 by Grand Vizier İbrahim Paşa during the reign of Ahmed III, it became a symbol of the Tulip Period, but was largely destroyed in 1730 and no longer exists today.
