Editor's Note
It was built at the head of a shooting range constructed in 1888 to test the Mauser rifles purchased from Germany, so that the sultan could rest and watch the drills. Built in Western architectural style as a single-story structure by Abdülhamid II, the palace consists of a wide hall across the center with turreted wings on either side. These wings contain rooms, a lavatory, and so on. The staff used a two-story building that could be reached by an external staircase to the main floor from the Golden Horn side.
