Editor's Note
Founded in the early 17th century by the Bayramî-Melâmî sheikh Seyyid Ahmed Hamdî Efendi, this lodge stood beside Sinan Paşa Mosque. Appearing as an empty plot in the late 19th century, the lodge must have been rebuilt in the early 20th century. Today only the tomb section survives. The tomb of Seyyid Ahmed Hamdi Efendi was rebuilt in reinforced concrete in 1966.
