Editor's Note
It is also known as the Salı Lodge Mosque. The mosque was given this name because Raşid Efendi, one of the order's sheikhs, carried out religious duties in this building. The reinforced-concrete building has a wide-eaved roof covered with tiles. On its wall facing Günaydın Street there are three tall windows, and on its wall facing Deniz Abdal Çeşmesi Street there are two windows on each of the upper and lower levels. The mihrab is of plaster, the minbar and preaching pulpit are wooden, and the ceiling is concrete. The women's gallery has a single wooden column within the prayer hall. It is 96 m², with a 45 m² courtyard. The minaret hangs like a cup on the wall of the mosque's entrance door.
