Şeyh İsmail Efendi, buried in the cemetery within the garden of the Kürkçü Lodge on Silivrikapı Avenue, was loved and respected by the people of the district where he lived, and when he died on 12 Rebiülevvel 1280 (27 August 1863) he was buried here. The graves of Şeyh Abdülkadir Efendi and Şeyh Hüseyin Bedrettin Efendi are also located in the cemetery.
