Editor's Note
According to Ali Saim Ülgen's findings, the Safa Hamam was built in AH 1324 / AD 1898 on the foundation of an older bathhouse, also making use of that bathhouse's remains, with the combined materials. The bathhouse, in which nothing related to its original function remains, no longer serves its original purpose and is in use by a private school.
