Editor's Note
Construction date: AH 981 / AD 1573-74. Inscription: The daughter of the Ottomans, pride of maidens, daughter bearing the name of the Prophet of the universe, Fatıma Sultan; for her soul this fountain was built after her death. Drinking from it, Nihâdî gave its date: the pure and clear fountain of the water of life.
