The Kaşıkçı Mustafa Efendi Primary School was founded in the first half of the 18th century and is registered to the Mustafa Efendi bin Ahmed Foundation, established in 1731. The building was founded by the philanthropist Mustafa Efendi, known by the nickname "Kaşıkçı" (the Spoon-maker). In keeping with the educational understanding of the period, the foundation's purpose was to support children's education and to oversee their social, moral, and cultural development.
