This is a wall remnant identified and examined in 2004 during the Istanbul Walled City Archaeological Surface Survey led by Feridun Özgümüş and Kenneth R. Dark. Thought to belong to a cistern not recorded in the literature, the remnant lies partly underground. It was damaged during the construction of an adjacent shanty dwelling and the perimeter wall of a housing complex.
