Yedikule Hacı Piri Camii

Editor's Note

This building, known to have been commissioned by Hacı Piri Mehmet Efendi in the early 17th century, was renovated in 1767. Having vanished over time, it was rebuilt at the initiative and request of the neighbourhood's residents. The mosque was constructed in reinforced concrete with its exterior facade clad in wood. The building was opened for worship in 2006.
