Editor's Note
Located on Seyitnizam Avenue, it is a single-faced square fountain with a round-arched niche. There is a rosette on the keystone of the arch and an eaves-like moulding across the upper part of its facade. Behind it is a brick-built rectangular cistern. The structure has no inscription, and its year of construction is unknown. Because it stood at what was then a junction on the Cirpici route out of Silivrikapi and Mevlanakapi, it became known among the people as the "Fountain of Parting" (ayrilik cesmesi). In 2022, through a restoration-reconstruction carried out by the Zeytinburnu Municipality, the fountain was moved 30 m towards the Seyyid Nizam Mosque.
