Editor's Note

Dating back to the 17th century, the cemetery was registered in the land records in 1839 under the nominal name "Kevork son of Atam." Its address is "the Merkez Efendi neighbourhood in the Gumussuyu district, outside Topkapi." According to records in the church archive, the last burial here took place on 7 April 1896.
