Editor's Note
As part of the Davutpasa Barracks, the bath was registered as a cultural asset requiring protection by decision no. 2005 of the Istanbul No. 1 Council for the Protection of Cultural and Natural Heritage, dated 1 August 1990. In the barracks' later years it was used as a kitchen and dining hall. After its restoration and surrounding landscaping were completed, the bath was brought back into use in 2019 for various events.
