The restoration carried out by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IBB) was completed on 14 June 2023. Feshane Inscriptions: Right inscription: The radiant sun of the Caliphate, the lord whose army is the stars, fashioned his victory-bodied forces from head to toe; through the artistry of his planning for progress and the effect of his grace, one a jewelled crown, the other from end to end, he expanded the old Feshane and made it anew. AH 1303 (AD 1885).
