Editor's Note
During this period an inscription was placed beside the main gate of the lodge that opens onto the avenue on its western side. Today, however, the inscription lies in several pieces tossed beside a grave; some parts are missing, and because the letters have deteriorated and broken, certain words and lines can only be made out with difficulty.
