Editor's Note
An Armenian church in the Eyüpsultan district of Istanbul. A church existing here in the 18th century was demolished in 1766 but reopened in 1800. Rebuilt in 1832 and renovated in 1851, it was most recently restored in 2000 and reopened for worship by Mesrob II, the Armenian Patriarch of Istanbul.
