Editor's Note
An Armenian church in the Eyüpsultan district of Istanbul. An earlier church on the site was demolished in 1785; the wooden church built in its place was torn down in 1841 and rebuilt in masonry in 1855. The church was restored in 2000 and reopened for worship by Mesrob II, the Armenian Patriarch of Istanbul.
