In his article titled "Namazgahs," Mustafa Özdamar states that this site was the Sultan Beyazıt Namazgah (open-air prayer ground). It is also registered as a namazgah in the parcel map query. In 2020, during work on the namazgah's foundation, remains of a Late Roman waterway were found. Until 2022 it was a green area enclosed by a perimeter wall, but with landscaping it has been turned into a park.
