The water tower at the base of a valley at the southern end of the Ferhatpaşa Çiftlik area and the former Cicoz Farm site is part of the Halkalı Waters distribution system. It is one of two water towers located within the bus terminal area. The water tower, which no longer exists, was demolished in 1988-1989 during the construction of the bus terminal. By decision no. 903 dated 08.01.2009 of the Istanbul No. 1 Council for the Protection of Cultural and Natural Heritage, the preparation of survey, restitution and restoration projects for the water tower was requested on the basis of old records.
