Editor's Note
A historic fountain in Küçükçekmece Square, in the Fatih neighborhood of Küçükçekmece. It was commissioned by Abdülhamid II and, according to the inscription on its pediment, built in the Hijri year 1318. Today it stands on the central median of the traffic-bearing İstanbul Avenue.
