The fountain on Macar Tabya Street, in Anadolukavağı, Beykoz, is an Ottoman-era water structure. Supplying the neighbourhood with water, such fountains stood at the centre of daily life and community culture. Its plain stone face is a trace of the coastal village's old water system.
