Beykoz Mecidiye Kasrı is a historic building in Beykoz, İstanbul; Begun in 1845 as a gift commissioned by Mehmet Ali Pasha, the Governor of Egypt, for Sultan Abdulmecit, construction of the pavilion continued after Mehmet Ali Pasha's death in 1849 under his son, the Governor of Egypt Said Pasha, and the building was completed in 1854.
