Editor's Note
On Fevzi Pasha Avenue, this garden-set wooden waterside mansion, which has two shops, one of timber and the other of masonry, has a rococo central medallion on its lower floor and balustraded staircases. The mansion was registered for protection in 1971 under protection number 14 by the Council for Immovable Antiquities and Monuments. (Rococo: a more decorative and playful architectural style that emerged in the late Baroque period as a reaction against the heavy and somber atmosphere of Baroque architecture.)
